SUNOTEC Becomes General Sponsor of the National Youth Football Tournament Sofia Cup 2025

SUNOTEC, the leading European integrated solar solutions provider, has become the general sponsor of the national youth football tournament Sofia Cup 2025. As a result, the tournament will now be named SUNOTEC Sofia Cup.

The ninth edition of SUNOTEC Sofia Cup will take place from February 20 to 23 in Sofia, Bulgaria. This will be the largest tournament so far, with more than 160 teams running across eight age categories, including the youth teams of prominent clubs like CSKA, Levski, Septemvri, Slavia, Lokomotiv, Pirin Blagoevgrad, Cherno More Varna, and numerous other academies from all over Bulgaria.

SUNOTEC Sofia Cup 2025 will be held under the patronage of Sofia Municipality and supported by the "Sofia – European Capital of Sports" Foundation. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Vasil Levski National Stadium with the participation of Kaloyan Velichkov, SUNOTEC CEO, Elitsa Videnova, SUNOTEC Foundation CEO, Irina Gorolomova, Sofia Cup founder and organiser, Bulgarian Football Union representatives, athletes, and other official guests. A special invitation has been extended to Sofia Mayor Vassil Terziev.

"For years, we have been the general sponsor of volleyball club CSKA, and we support numerous youth football teams across Bulgaria. We have a well-developed policy of promoting grassroots sports among children and adolescents, and the Sofia Cup is a prime example of what can be achieved with enough motivation and perseverance. The SUNOTEC Sofia Cup will be held over four days at five different locations:

• National Football Base "Boyana"
• DIT Sports Complex - Dragalevtsi
• WINBET Arena - Suhodol
• WINBET Sports and Event Center - Military Academy
• 57th Secondary School "St. Naum of Ohrid"

All matches in SUNOTEC Sofia Cup will be open to parents, spectators, and journalists.
