Market leader as team effort: Visitors to the company’s booth were able to learn how the SUNOTEC team makes the successes possible through their daily work. “We wanted to put the spotlight on those who work every day to ensure that the PV expansion goals of the green energy transition are achieved,” emphasized SUNOTEC CEO Bernhard Suchland.
This year’s Intersolar Europe marks a new chapter for SUNOTEC: The company will present itself for the first time as Your General Contractor showcasing its full scope of services. From 14 to 16 June 2023, SUNOTEC invites visitors to take a look behind the scenes of the company as Europe's market leader in the construction of utility solar PV parks.
Last year, SUNOTEC delivered photovoltaic projects with an output of around 2.3 gigawatts peak (GWp). By way of comparison, the whole of France built PV plants supplying 2.7 GWp in the same time. 2022 turned out to be the most successful year in the company’s history, as the market leader in the construction of ground-mounted photovoltaic plants connected more than 70 new solar parks to the grid.
Bulgaria’s largest solar power plant is due to be completed by spring 2023. It will increase solar power generation in the country by 12 percent. Being built in hilly terrain south of Sofia, the new power plant will generate green electricity with a capacity of 124 megawatts peak. The Verila project is being delivered by SUNOTEC, the European market leader in the construction of solar parks.
